LGBTQ+ Support Group in Richmond, VA: Begins Soon

Looking for an affirming LGBTQ+ support group where you can show up fully and feel understood? Making Space is a new group forming at LaunchPad Counseling, created to offer connection, reflection, and support for LGBTQ+ adults in a safe, inclusive environment.

This group will begin once enough participants have signed up, allowing us to create a meaningful and supportive group experience from the start.

What is Making Space?

Making Space is a 6-week LGBTQ+ support group facilitated by Allie Longworth, MT-BC, designed for anyone who wants space to:

  • Explore identity and self-understanding

  • Reflect on relationships, community, and belonging

  • Connect with others who share similar lived experiences

  • Feel affirmed, seen, and supported

This is a supportive group—not a class, not a lecture, and not about fixing yourself. It’s about creating space to be curious, authentic, and connected.

The group will begin once there is sufficient interest to form a strong, connected group. By signing up now, you’re letting us know you’re interested and helping us move toward a confirmed start date.

There’s no obligation at this stage—just a way to raise your hand and say this sounds like something you’d like to be part of.
